The purpose of the PsyDATA Center is the comprehensive support of scientific research in the field of psychology, education and the social sphere.

The main tasks of the PsyDATA Center are:

  • - standardization, validation, adaptation of psychodiagnostic tools, training of certified specialists in the development and use of psychodiagnostic tools in the context of international standards and protocols;
  • - comprehensive support of scientific research in the field of psychology, education and the social sphere, including the development of research design and quantitative analysis of empirical data;

In a broad sense, the PsyDATA Center deals with the quantitative analysis of data in psychology and education. This field of activity is currently in high demand, firstly, because the arsenal of modern methods of quantitative analysis and mathematical modeling is extremely large and tends to be further expanded. Secondly, the development of digital technologies has greatly increased the possibilities of automated data collection, and big data is increasingly being used to make managerial and other decisions in psychology, education and the social sphere. In addition, thanks to the development of IT technologies, there is a whole range of standard statistical packages that allow data mining, i.e. extracting information from large databases.
